The Foundation supports the research work of Emma Perrot’s thesis, aimed at understanding the development of anxiety in people suffering from Parkinson’s disease by determining the functional role of the Vasoactive Intestinal Peptide secreted by single neurons which may be at the origin of the development of non-motor symptoms, such as anxiety.

Founding sponsor Fondation Clément Fayat is delighted to announce the return of eleven stained glass windows by René Lalique to the church of Saint-Nicaise in Reims, following their restoration at Manufacture Vincent-Petit. Five large windows and six smaller ones are back in place in the south arm of the transept and the choir of the church. As a result, five large and six smaller stained-glass windows are back in place in the south arm of the transept and the choir of the church.
The second stage of restoration, that of the nave windows, is scheduled for 2024.

The Foundation is funding the research work of Alexandra Foubert-Samier, a neurologist with a doctorate in epidemiology, and Cécile Proust-Lima, a doctorate in biostatistics from INSERM, on the analysis of the correlation between 5 modeled evolutionary profiles of Multi-Systematic Atrophy and targeted biomarkers, to enable clinicians to provide prognostic information to patients.

The Foundation is supporting a clinical trial to test the benefits of music therapy in treating irritability in patients with Huntington’s disease. Anxiety, patients’ quality of life and the feelings of carers will also be assessed. The study, being conducted at the Clinical Investigation Centre at Poitiers University Hospital, will be coordinated by Dr Isabelle Benatru, and will involve 15 patients with early-stage Huntington’s disease.

A look back at the progress of the restoration project for the 30 glass roofs signed René Lalique launched at the beginning of May, on the technical finesse deployed, the passion and know-how of the profession of conservator-restorer.

On June 23, visit of the Manufacture Vincent-Petit where 11 first angels benefit from the attentive care of the restoration team specialists in molded glass.
